Diversity management in civil service, known as ‘representative bureaucracy’, plays an important role in enhancing democracy by improving the transparency and responsiveness of the government.
The objectives of this session are as follows. 1. To find out the theoretical backgrounds of diversity management in public human resources management and best practices related to it 2. To share the performance of OGP member countries’ diversity management policies and discuss improvements for going forward 3. To encourage participants to recognize the importance of diversity management and inspire them to reflect it in policy making and implementation
